This new regulation is part of a wider national effort to enhance the quality of the workforce and ensure that professionals in vital sectors are properly accredited.

🎓 Certification Now Required for Financial Sector Roles

According to the Ministry, any individual currently employed or intending to be hired in accounting, finance, or auditing positions must obtain a Professional Classification Certificate issued by the Sector Skills Unit for Accounting, Finance, and Auditing. The Ministry of Labour will only process work permit requests if the certificate is submitted alongside the application.
